About Us

The camp is run by Coaches Chris Salak and Caitlin Salak along with other area coaching volunteers.  Chris played college basketball at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and graduated in 2005.  He has attended, worked, and volunteered at over 40 basketball camps.  Chris has also coached numerous boys and girls basketball teams.  Caitlin played college basketball at University of West Florida and graduated in 2011.  She has attended, worked, and volunteered at over 20 basketball camps.  Caitlin has also coached AAU Girls Basketball for two years.


In 2011, several local coaches reached out to Chris with the idea of putting together a basketball camp in the area.  2025 will be our 15th year of Destin Basketball Skills Camp.  We have worked with over 1,000 different kids!  Our camp includes the teaching of basketball fundamentals such as dribbling, passing, and shooting techniques.  Campers of all skill levels are encouraged to attend.  Youths from all schools are invited to join us!  Coaches will provide campers with tips and advice to help with their basketball skills throughout drills, games, and contests.

COST:  $99 per camper (SAME PRICE FOR ALL 15 YEARS!)
Session 1: 8am - Noon: Boys & Girls entering Grades 2 - 5
Session 2: 1pm - 5pm: Boys & Girls entering Grades 6 - 10

*LIMIT OF 50 KIDS PER SESSION!*
